    Other than some small audio problems – great job! WELL above my expectations! Thanks for letting me be apart of it!

  3. Nale says:

    Eh… Gotta be honest… It’s really not that good. Far from it actually. Serious, there was such potential, and this was made of fail.

  4. Todd Hakusho says:

    @ Nale: It’s my first abridged series episode lol. It shall get better with time

    but at least you are honest ^^

  5. rabidkanid says:

    ok..constructive comments time.

    The script in and of itself was bad and you need to work more on it. Try having everyone say their lines in practice with each other live as if they were doing the scene.

    Sally didn’t put any “emotion” into her acting. She needs to think and FEEL that she is there and the things on screen are happening to her, put herself in the characters shoes and emote! Her lack of emotion killed a few of the jokes and this goes for sonic as well, just to a much lesser degree.

    Sonic sounds WAY to old. I know it might not be something which can be helped, but it sounds odd anyway. Other than that, I can tell the person tried to sound youthful to some degree for sonic.

    Inappropriate use of Music in places. It seemed like you were using sonic theme music more because you liked the song rather than because it was appropriate.

    The video itself felt like it was done lazily and got majorly showed it at the end and totally skipped over the scene were Kat is missing and you feel that emptiness knowing that he is gone as well as other scenes near the end. The thing is that when someone looks at an abridged version of a shows episode, they should be able to get the gist of the episode without having to see the whole thing which again was lost at the very end of the episode. If you never saw the episode, you would never have known that Kat was gone besides sonic saying “That was for Kat!”

    In general, everyone who was talking needs a better mic or to use a program that doesn’t add weird warble effects behind their voices.

    The computer voices should have a vocal effect put over them to sound more robotic sort of like what was done for robotnik. If you can find out how they sort of did the computer womans voice from Portal and use that method instead with peoples computer lines, it would help.

    Ironically, Antoine and Robotnik were the best voices in the episode.

    One thing I did like was the BEAN joke with Sally. That idea never crossed my mind and it was great!

  6. rabidkanid says:

    One last thing, Snivleys voice sounds off. Need to either successfully reproduce his voice, or have the person make up their voice to sound more like they are say….a butler, or a servant in general.

  7. supersonicgod says:

    hehehe

  8. Todd Hakusho says:

    @rabidkanid: wow….XD umm…..damn dude

    well I play Snively, and I have an idea for his voice for episode two. The reason he sounds like that was due to the parallels I found between him and Robotnik versus Megatron and Starscream (hence the voice).

    Saph (Sally) is going to practise and has promised she will be better next time around.

    Forgot that part at the end about “That was for Cat”. I guess I assumed if he wasn’t heard from in the episode, the audience would think he was either roboticised or killed. ^^;

    I also admit I did go a bit willy-nilly with the music, but I’m an audiophile; anything that doesn’t have some sort of ambience to it seems empty.

    The warbling was only on one mike, and that was Saph’s cuz she was using her internal mike. (Long story short she left her good one at her grandoparents’).

    And finally, I see your pioint about the computer voices…^^; I knew I shoulda added some echo to them

    But I appreciate all the criticism rabidkanid ^^. You’ve given me a lot to improve, so now I got my work cut out for me.

    GET ME SOME COFFEE XDDD

  9. Tom Oliver says:
